On May 22, 2018, the opening ceremony at the first aid training school of Beijing Red Cross and launch party for new group member of Fengtai Red Cross was held in Fengtai District based at HXZA’s Security Vocational Skills Training School. In accordance with the guidelines of the Beijing Red Cross Society to further strength the construction of an emergency medical response capability and bolster the Red Cross membership, this project is a public welfare activity fostering humanitarian undertakings in Fengtai District.

The programs will teach first-aid knowledge and skills, promote the development of mass emergency rescue and emergency medial response careers. HXZA training school having been approved by the Beijing municipal Red Cross, became the first location of the Beijing Red Cross emergency unit training center in 2018. HXZA’s training school now has launched a teaching unit that carries out mass first-aid training for the general public, specialists, practitioners, and even train the trainer programs.

As a member of the Red Cross Society of Fengtai District, HXZA Training School not only provides an important education for security personnel to learn the knowledge of their profession, but now also provides medical and humanitarian emergency response service training, and fosters the initiatives of the Red Cross.

Since 2018, the school has organized 10 sessions of 16 class hours training on first aid and EMT certification.

The training provides participants with the basic knowledge of Red Cross movement, establishes the concept of Red Cross humanitarian aid, fosters the basic knowledge and skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and trauma rescue. The training is expanding to provide practitioners and the general public the skills to assist in the case of emergency or injury in order to reduce the pain, and take proven measures to buy time and save lives.
