Social Responsibility

HXZA constantly strives to enhance the quality of our services, promote a responsible brand, and be a genuine force for good-- creating low-profile, but positive impacts in the sensitive regions where we operate.

Our company recognizes the constructive role businesses like ours can play in advancing a socially responsible agenda. We place significant importance on the promotion human rights and protection of the environment throughout our worldwide operations. This is reflected in our business philosophy: Security through harmony.

Our conceptualization of social responsibility is derived from three main international frameworks. First is the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, which all business should comply. Second is the Voluntary Principles, which many of our clients must comply and demand our adherence. Third, and most specific to our work, is the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Service Providers.

To live what we preach, we also pursue socially responsible behaviors at home. We have established a labor union to represent our more than twenty-thousand employees, developed a suitable grievance mechanism to process complaints, adopted environmentally sound practices, and engage in several charitable projects aimed at the serving the underprivileged.
