During the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China, the HXZA counter-UAV team dispatched more than 1000 technical operators, more than 70 sets of UAV interception and area-denial systems and equipment such as vehicle mounted, fixed, and portable units. Under the direct leadership of the UAV joint prevention and control special group for the 70th anniversary of the national day, several activities for UAV control were outsourced to HXZA. HXZA worked closely with the various government agencies, special police forces, and other units to jointly design and operate the capital's low altitude safety circle, effectively ensuring a safe parade and celebration free from overhead threats.

In recent years, with the rapid development of UAV technology, safely intercepting, denying, and controlling low speed small aircraft is a recognized problem.

In order to ensure aerial safety in the wide operating area for the celebrations, a joint prevention and control program was established with HXZA and Captimus Prime Defence participating as project leaders. Thanks to both organizations having solid experience, strong technology research and development strength, rich field capabilities, and high quality personnel, they were selected as the outsourced counter-UAV service providers for China’s 70th anniversary celebrations in Beijing.

In order to successfully complete the major tasks assigned by customer, in an extremely tight time schedule, HXZA implement several concurrent business management and operational readiness activities. From personnel selection, background check, to theoretical learning and practival training, UAV flight practicing, and familiarizing with equipment operation and use in all light and weather conditions, troubleshooting, and emergency handling, all the members of of counter UAV division have passed the assessment.

Before deployment, HXZA established standard operating procedures, investigated the terrain and selected positions in the daytime, met at night to study technical difficulties, refitted vehicles, upgraded equipment and systems, and provided general guidance of the security measures for aerial security leading up for the 70th anniversary of the national day.

The counter- UAV control system jointly developed by HXZA and Captimus Prime Defence is composed of various counter-UAV control equipment such as photoelectric search, cloud sentry detection, vehicle mounted, large included angle, hand-held and counter UAV and information platform system which is the most advanced information, digital, intelligent, mobile visualization integrated information platform in China. The system includes real-time data sharing, early warning and detection of UAVs over the operating environment, and incorporates effective defense and denial of UAVs.

Together with the members of the counter-UAV joint prevention and control group, HXZA conducted detailed planning, performed operational tests to demonstrate system readiness, and practice for the anniversary events in suty. In the middle of September, final practical exercises were demonstrated for the customer and HXZA’s system performed well across all functions of of detection, early warning, denial, and control. The system was unanimously approved by the relevant persons in charge of security for the 70th Anniversary celebrations.

At 2:15 a.m. on October 2, 2019, the client announced that the "National Day celebration security task was successfully performed and all units can stand down as planned." On October 24, 2019, the joint security working group of the 70th anniversary of the national day sent a thank-you letter to HXZA, expressing heartfelt thanks to the company for its full cooperation and assistance in the security work of the 70th anniversary celebrations and commending HXZA for its excellent business capability and professional services.
